ARTICLE FIFTEEN
300.300 GENERAL PROVISIONS
300.301 Validity.
Sec. 15.01. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance.

300.302 Savings clause.
Sec. 15.02. This Ordinance shall in no manner affect pending actions, either civil or criminal, founded or growing out of any Ordinance, or part of any Ordinance, hereby repealed; this Ordinance shall in no manner affect rights or causes of action, either civil or criminal, not in suit that may have already accrued or grown out of any Ordinance, or part of any Ordinance hereby repealed.

300.303 Conflicting ordinances repealed.
Sec. 15.03. Any Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

300.304 Purpose of catch heads.
Sec. 15.04. The catch heads appearing in connection with the foregoing sections are inserted simply for convenience, to serve the purpose of an index and they shall be wholly disregarded by any person, officer, court or other tribunal in construing the terms and provisions of this Ordinance.

300.305 Repeal of prior ordinance.
Sec. 15.05. The Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Township Board and declared effective as of January 23, 1968, including amendments thereto, is hereby repealed coincident with the effective date of this Ordinance.

300.306 Effective date.
Sec. 15.06. This Ordinance was adopted by the Township Board of Berrien Township, Berrien County, Michigan, by unanimous vote on March 16, 1981 to become effective thirty (30) days after publication of notice of adoption in The Journal Era, Berrien Springs, Michigan.
