There was discussion on if the public hearing for the new zoning ordinance should be postponed until March.Members have not received a revised copy with the changes from the last meeting.Everyone was comfortable with receiving the revisions later and still having the public hearing in February.A question was then raised on if the same public hearing would include the changes to the penalty portions of the ordinance book that are being made or if that would be a separate hearing.Clarification of this will be requested through the office.More discussion followed with point being made that Chairman Sherwood would still be out of town during the February meeting.Riedlinger made a motion seconded by Rogien to have both public hearings in March. All Ayes; None Opposed. MOTION CARRIED.
Question from Rogien; where are we on the PUD ordinance?Have we seen application and pre-approval documents?Discussion followed.Members have questions and problems with some portions of what was done previously.I.e. survey regulations and why would you require hard surface roads, a developer should only be required to meet county specs. We need to revisit this and verify current changes.
Motion to adjourn by Riedlinger; seconded by Shelton. All Ayes; None Opposed.MOTION CARRIED. Meeting adjourned at 7:46 p.m.
